Text Compare

New feature With the new Text Compare feature, users can now compare any combination of two DOCX-files, PDF-files, text selections or pasted text. This goes significantly beyond MS Word's built-in DOCX-to-DOCX comparison feature offers. Check out the documentation.

This feature will be enabled for all customers as from 8th September. If you need access earlier, please let us know.

Bulk Compare

New feature While the Text Compare feature offers two-way compares, this feature offers the possibility to compare a single document (the "base document") towards many different documents at once.

As described in the documentation, the Bulk Compare feature has many different use cases for legal teams, e.g.:

  • a general counsel can compare the model T&C or sales agreement with the actually signed documents, to find "hot zones" of frequently contested clauses

  • in a due diligence procedure, a law firm can do a mass-check of all employment agreements, sales agreements or loan agreements

  • sales teams can compare various versions of sales contracts to identify common changes requested by customers, helping to refine negotiation strategies.

The result can then be checked on the screen, or downloaded as a DOCX-report.

This feature will be enabled for all customers as from 8th September. If you need access earlier, please let us know.

Linked accounts in Clause9

New feature In previous updates to ClauseBuddy, we added the possibility to give certain users the right to "jump" to another account (e.g., to allow certain users to temporarily become an administrator; see the documentation).

This "jumping" possibility can now also be used directly from within Clause9, through the menu in the upper-right corner of the screen.

The configuration panel itself is only available in ClauseBuddy, as this is primarily a feature for ClauseBuddy-targeted customers.
